URLA STATE HOSPITAL PATIENT VISIT APPLICATION

VISITING HOURS AT OUR HOSPITAL HERGÜN; Between 13: 00AD14: 30 and 19: 00–20: 30.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PATIENT VISIT?
1. Meeting the necessary needs of the patient from outside the hospital (such as medicine, clothing)
2. Asking the patient's sake, giving psychological support to the patient
3. Receiving information about the patient's health and the health of the patient

Who is informed about the patient's health?
1. If the patient is adult and conscious; himself or his immediate family member.
2. If the patient is unconscious; information is given to the first degree
3. If the patient is a child; parents are informed.
4. Third parties are not informed about the patient.


WHICH PATIENTS MUST NOT BE VISITED?
1. Patients in intensive care,
2. Patients with infectious diseases,
3. Immunomodulatory patients (patients receiving cancer treatment, organ transplantation, steroid therapy),
4. Patients whose physician has been incapable of visiting

Information can be obtained from the patient's physician at appropriate times for these patients.


WHO SHOULD NOT GO TO PATIENT VISIT?
1. Children under 10 years old,
2. Patients with complaints of fever, cough, sneezing and sputum, and patients with a known infectious disease,
3. Patients with any chronic disease,
4. People prone to infection

WHAT ARE THE SITUATIONS TO BE ATTENTION AT THE PATIENT VISIT?
1. Patient visit should be made during visit hours.
2. The duration of the visit should be short (up to 15 minutes according to the law).
3. There should not be more than two visitors at the beginning of each patient.
4. Do not sit on patient beds.
5. The patient should not be touched anywhere in the hospital environment.
6. The patient should not touch or play treatment materials such as serum set, oxygen manometer.
7. Any person touching the floor should immediately wash his / her hands with soapy water.
8. Do not speak loudly at the patient's head.
9. No food should be brought to the patient without the consent of the doctor.
10. Do not eat or drink anything at the patient's head.
11. No other food should be given to other patients staying in the same room.
12. The gift that can be brought to patients; books, flowers, cologne.
13. In patients with bone marrow transplantation and organ transplantation, patients receiving cancer treatment do not receive flowers (flowers can be infected with deadly fungal disease).
14. During the visit, other patients should not be disturbed, and unnecessary and curious questions should not be asked.
15. Patient confidentiality should be respected.
16. During the visit, depressing words and behaviors should be avoided.
17. No unnecessary and persistent visit requests should be made outside the visit time.
18. At the end of the visit, the hospital should be abandoned without waiting for the warnings of the officers.


WHY SHOULD THE NIGHT NOT BE VISITING THE PATIENT?
1. There is only a number of health personnel on duty at night. The visitors occupy them unnecessarily and delay the treatment time of the patient and reduce the quality of the service.
2. Disrupts hospital safety.
3. Sleeping patients are uncomfortable.
4. Patient rights are violated.
